Singapore: Marina Bay Sands Hotel Review
Imagine this: A bustling cityscape, the iconic skyline of Singapore, and right in the midst of it all, the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, an architectural marvel that promises luxury at every corner. This July 2023, we had the privilege of experiencing this grandeur firsthand, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of spectacular.
Location & First Impressions 📍
Nestled in the vibrant district of Singapore, Marina Bay Sands is more than just a hotel; it’s an integrated resort that offers a plethora of experiences.
From the moment we set foot in its grand lobby, we were treated to a taste of the exceptional service that awaited us.
Despite not being VIP guests, we were pleasantly surprised to be escorted to the VIP check-in, a gesture that set the tone for our entire stay.
A Room with a View 🌆
We were located on the 49th floor, and what a view it was! The room, elegantly adorned with tasteful décor, offered panoramic views of the gardens and the bay.
It was equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including an interactive TV through which we could order room service (albeit a tad pricey), high-end toiletries, and plush robes and slippers.
The Crown Jewel: The Infinity Pool 🏊
Marina Bay Sands boasts the world’s largest rooftop infinity pool, perched on the 57th floor. This isn’t just a pool; it’s an experience. Floating there, with the city sprawled below, is something you’d have to experience to believe. And the best part? It’s exclusive to hotel guests.
But it doesn’t end there! Be sure to stop by after dark to experience the city lights at night.
The Light & Water Show can also be seen from here at 8pm, 9pm, and 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and Sunday-Thursday at 8pm & 9pm.
Beyond the Stay: An Array of Experiences 🛍️🍴
Marina Bay Sands hotel is a microcosm of luxury experiences.
With over 50 restaurants catering to every palate, nightclubs and bars, 300+ shops (primarily luxury, for those with a penchant for retail therapy), and a host of entertainment options like the Sampan canal ride, skypark observation deck, and even a casino, there’s never a dull moment.
In addition, there is also a fitness center as well as a spa, where you can enjoy couples massages and other treatments.
For those looking to immerse themselves in nature, the Gardens by The Bay, with its futuristic supertrees, flower dome, and cloud forest, is a must-visit.

Our stay at Marina Bay Sands was a blend of luxury, comfort, and a dash of the extraordinary. From the impeccable service to the plethora of experiences it offered, it was truly a memorable stay. If you’re planning a trip to Singapore, Marina Bay Sands should undoubtedly be at the top of your list!
